The Event Marketing Manager is responsible for owning our events strategy, including industry events, partner events, PerformYard events, webinars, customer events and more. You’ll collaborate on strategy with the Director of Marketing and lead event planning, execution and follow up. You’ll work across the organization to mobilize customers and the PerformYard team for impactful content. Your events will drive revenue and contribute to PerformYard’s growth.

The best candidates will be excited about being a utility player, working across other areas like partnerships and customer advocacy, stretching their skills while also bringing deeper experience in event marketing. They will be independent, self-motivated, and have a history of figuring things out and working through difficult problems on their own.

Experience and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Support demand generation with online and offline event-based marketing
  • Own the entire event lifecycle, from planning to execution to follow up, and measuring results.
  • Strategize and execute our presence at HR events, partner events, industry vertical events.
  • Design, plan and execute PerformYard’s public events, including smaller quarterly events and an annual conference. 
  • Design, plan and execute PerformYard’s customer events to deepen our relationship with customers.
  • Create useful and informative experiences by bringing together the expertise of our team and customers.
  • Support and manage our existing partnerships.
  • Help manage our customer advocacy programs.

Relevant Experience

  • 1-3 years of event marketing experience.
  • A portfolio of work.
  • Experience with lead generation or in a lead gen environment.
  • Exceptional written, visual and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel to in-person events across the US.

Benefits

Salary is based on experience and includes performance incentives. Health benefits, HSA, 401k, and PTO are also included.
